Youth Squad

All youngsters who have at least RYA Stage 3 or above or are assessed as competent with the intention of undergoing RYA training during cadet weeks this year can join the Youth Squad. There is no cost associated with the Youth Squad. Please check out the calendar for details.

The squad activities will not deliver formal RYA training but is designed to allow competence to be increased with the support of competent adults. It should be stressed that parents are expected to be responsible for their children when at the sailing club or afloat during squad activities.

If you are attending a Youth Squad activity please make sure to book into the event on the booking pages in the calendar and contact Will Slater to be put on the Whatsapp group: youth@ndyc.org

Youth Squad sailing - Meet at the training room (big blue door). Please make sure you book in for the Youth Squad activity and have Parental Consent box completed. You must also have your profile within the website portal completed with details of certificates and contacts.
