Bookable from approx. 3 weeks before the session (see booking form).  Bookings close on the Tuesday before the session (to allow for planning etc.)

There is no cost but the booking form MUST be completed.

The sailing times are all planned around high tide times and weather conditions, so will be updated here before the session - and do please keep an eye on the WhatsApp group.

Young Pirates Beginners - for those with little/no sailing experience

• Arrive (ready changed) approx. 2 and half hours before high tide
• Approx. 30mins to sign in, rig the boats and launch
• 45 - 60 minutes on the water
• Finish (~ 2 hours after start)

Young Pirates Improvers - for those with RYA Stage 1 or 2

• Arrive (ready changed) approx. 1 hour before high tide
• Approx. 15 minutes to get signed in and ready
• 45 - 60 minutes on the water
• Approx 1 hour to bring the boats in and de-rig
• Finish (just over 2 hours after start)

MEMBER VOLUNTEERS (PARENT/CARER)

We would be really grateful for adult volunteers to lend a hand during the session. Your support helps keep the sessions running smoothly. Help could be anything from rigging/de-rigging, launching the dinghies or joining in on the water.  If you would like to assist with a Young Pirates session, please do book a Parent Volunteer ticket so that we know who is able to make it, and so that we have the relevant emergency contact information etc.
