BCA Blaze Western Championship 2026, 25 26 April

This year, we are celebrating 30 years of Blazing 1996-2026. North Devon Yacht Club, Instow welcomes you for more Blazing with:

· 2 days of great racing with up to 3 races per day

· Prizes for Fires, Blazes, 1st poly boat, endeavour trophy, lady, youth, mid-fleet, Youth U26, Master 45-54, Grand Master 55-64, Great Grandmaster 65+

· Low cost entry - just £25 (half price for Youth <26, and Ladies)

· Fantastic sailing area - one of the windiest places in the UK

· Good location - lots of pubs and things for the family to do

· Lots of local accommodation B&Bs, camping, etc

· Please note, spaces are limited at 50 for this event, so book early

Approximate launch times:

· Saturday 11:00am

· Sunday 12:30pm

Car and boat storage:

· We are using Instow Beach. Do not bring your boat to the club, instead take boat and trailer directly to the beach. Unload in the Commodore hotel lower car park, then park at the nearby Village car park or Marine Parade which are closer to the launching area and walk to the club to register.

· Do not park at Commodore hotel unless you are a guest (but its a lovely place to stay!! Please park in the upper car park)

· Do not park at the club where space is very limited in April and needed for the volunteers
