Transformed by War - 'Torridge WWII Trail'   with Mike Teare

Educated in marine biology with a real passion for maritime history, Mike brings us a fascinating account of how WWII shaped our local estuary and the people around it.  Resources about the WWII Trail and Heritage Harbour will be available and he'll leave plenty of time for questions!

An opportunity to meet regularly with other cruiser members over the winter.  Bar hours are 6pm - 10pm.

During this time the Over the Bar, cruiser group meet.  We do all sorts from chat and have a beer to listen to interesting talks from those in our membership as well as external people.  We have also played a sailing board game, watch Nick service an engine, spliced moorings, made rope shackles and helped members with aspects of their cruising theory courses.
