Follow On Sailing
The club supports developing sailors by providing Follow on Sailing dinghy sailing practice sessions. They are suitable for adults who
- Have recently qualified with RYA 2
- Already have qualifications in dinghy sailing but havent sailed for a while
- Experienced sailors who are new to the club and would like information about sailing on our waters
- Practical introduction to dinghy sailing in the estuary in tidal conditions
Sessions typically involved a short talk on estuary sailing, including weather and tide conditions, followed by supported rigging of boats before going out on the water. Participants can use their own boats or use club boats free of charge for these sessions. There is no charge for FOS but places must be confirmed through the Whatsapp group - contact Heather Harris on hhsail1000@gmail.com for more information
