NDYC Fundraiser for Kids Sailing

We are raising Funds to support Kids sailing and help introduce more people to the sport
The club has been rearly successful in the past year with introducing many Adults and children to sailing and as a result we have introduces Follow On Sailing as part of our recreational sailing activities. This year the Youth Squad is being revitalised and we are fortunate the RYA have supported us with 6 optimists.
To expand our activities we want to purchase 3 new Lasers and work toward upgrading our Pico fleet. We also need a dedicated support boat and are raing funds for a 3.6m handlaunched RigiFlex boat with an electric 3KW engine. The boat will be used to support Training, and the Youth Squad. It will be used to replace tenders ferrying crews and buoys to the moored power boats and can be used to support other club activities.
We plan to have the crowd funding supported by council grants, business investors and of course our membership and in turn expect to be awarded upto £10,000 Sport England Grants.
