Please note that the club have updated their policies, including parental supervision - see https://ndyc.org/club/policies. Please make sure you and your young sailor have read the policies before the Youth Squad session, filled in the Parental Consent form where appropriate, and uploaded it to the qualifications section of your young sailor's NDYC account.

Youth Sail (YS) is for those ages 10-17 years, who hold a Stage 3 or 4 qualification or one advanced module.

This is for Cadets who have completed their Start Racing, Club Racing or AI qualifications. You will be expected to be pretty independent, competing in the day’s racing. Where possible, you will be given a brief on the race course and starting procedure for the day before being set off and will have the chance to have a debrief afterwards. Please note: while some guidance is given and patrol boats are out covering the race, parents/guardians remain responsible for their children throughout.
