Young Pirates

Young Pirates aims to get out less experienced members afloat. There are two groups planned per tide: 

- The first for Children ages 5-8 - Experience range between none and Stage 2 Certificate.

- The second for Children ages 9-13 - Suitable for those with Stage 1 or 2 certificates.

Each group is open to 6 young people and will be taken in Optimist dinghies.

The first group will arrive changed at the time specified and may help rig the boats. Guardians must remain on site at all times. At the end of the session, all will sail in and be handed directly back to their guardians. The Second group will arrive changed and will use the same boats. The second group will then help pack away the boats. Each session is planned to get one hour on the water, this may be done from the pool outside the clubhouse or from the beach (if from the beach, guardians will need to walk children around to meet the boats there).

Please note bookings need to be made in the childs name. Bookings made in a guardians name will be deleted.
