Real Racing Experience: Sail independently for most of the weekend no instructor constantly on board! You'll make real tactical decisions under pressure, developing the self-reliance and racing instincts that turn nervous first-timers into confident club competitors.
Course Details:
- Dates: Saturday 13 - Sunday 14 September
- Times: 07:30 - 15:00 both days
- Cost: £120 + membership
- Prerequisites: RYA Start Racing (Dinghy) OR RYA Multihull Stage 4/Level 3
What to Bring: Race-ready kit for your weekend:
- Your logbook (if you have one) and pen/paper for tactical notes
- Lunch, water and snacks light refreshments available during bar hours
- Buoyancy aid (if you own one)
- Helmet (recommended but optional for over 18s - one can be provided if needed)
- Clothing: Wetsuit or warm clothes with full waterproofs (you WILL get wet!)
- Footwear: Old sneakers or water shoes must be closed toe and heel (no flip flops!)
- Weather protection: Hat, sunscreen, windbreaker or waterproof jacket
- Essentials: Towel and dry change of clothes
- Layer up! It's much colder on the water, so dress over-warm we can store extra layers in the coach boat
