Falklands talk Pie supper

Saying farewell to his wife and 6-week-old son, Mike was flown to Ascencion Island to join 3 Para. His story follows the training aboard SS Canberra, the amphibious landings and forced marches, the battle for Mount Longdon and escorting 4,500 prisoners to Argentina.
Speaker Mike is a retired, commando and para-trained Gunner colonel, whos seen action in Northern Ireland, Oman, Cyprus and The Falklands. He describes himself as a jack-of-all-trades, having ended-up in Switzerland training multinational diplomats and servicemen at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, before early retirement and taking up boatbuilding in Bristol.
Please arrive at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. Pie and Chips will be served at 7.15pm and Mike's talk will resume at 8pm, rounding up at 9pm with Q&A. The talk is free (no need to book), Pie and Chips is £7 each (please book).
