Open week 2023

Welcome to the Open Week 2023 page.  

This year Open Week features daily racing from Saturday 5th to Saturday 12th August with a programme designed for family and visitors alike.  Racing will be programmed for Fast Cats, Spring 15s, Monohulls (featuring Blaze and Laser fleets) and Gaffers.

Sat 5th August Round the Bay race featuring fleet racing round the river estuary with trophies for each fleet with a 0900 first start

Sunday 6th August A 120 minute  pursuit race spilt into cats and Monohull starts - First start 0900

Monday 7th August Monday Cup starting 0930

Tuesday 8th August Tuesday Cup starting 1030 - Gaffer regatta day 1 of 4 day regatta (1 race per day)

Wednesday 9th Aug - Regatta day 1 with fleet racing from the committee boat and 3 races programmed per day - Gaffer regatta day 2

Thursday 10th Aug - Regatta day 2 with fleet racing from the committee boat and 3 races programmed per day - Gaffer regatta day 3

Friday 11th August - Regatta day 3 with fleet racing from the committee boat and 3 races programmed per day - Gaffer regatta day 4

Saturday 12th August - Community Cup - 

Note this is a draft programme and subject to change.  Low tide events such as bike rides or trips to Appledore will be scheduled.
