Motoring and cruising to Clovelly and Lundy 5/6 August - hold the dates

We want to help as many people get on the water during Openweek as possible, and for the first time, we are organising a cruise with shipmates. Weather permitting, our Motor Boat fleet captain, Barry Hews is inviting other motorboats and cruisers to join him on a sheparded cruise in company. The tides look perfect for a cruise to either Clovelly or Lundy on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th August so hold the dates. 

We will make a decision on the destination when we know the size and direction of the wind and swell. We may even go both days if the weather is great. 

If you are interested and your boat and crew are suitable for the journey, drop Barry an email (barryhews@hotmail.com) with your name, boat name and your phone number to register your interest and/or ask any questions. He will confirm the destination and therefore the times as soon as he can closer to the date when we know the weather. 

PS: Lundy passes are available through the club and will need to be shown onshore if that is the destination.  Some of the boats will need to take their tenders to make it easier to disembark at the far end. Remember to take your radios so that we can all keep in contact.
